Zappi & Zappi GLO EV Charger Installation
Professional Zappi and Zappi GLO installation for homes and businesses across South London and Surrey. Zappi is designed for standard grid charging and can also make intelligent use of solar generation, battery storage and off-peak electricity tariffs.
Solar integration
Zappi can be installed without solar and used as a conventional smart EV charger, while remaining ready for a future solar PV system. Where solar is available, suitable monitoring allows the charger to respond to surplus generation rather than exporting all of it to the grid. We assess the position of the meter, consumer unit, solar inverter, battery system and monitoring equipment so that energy flows are measured correctly.
Zappi charging modes
FAST charges the vehicle at the maximum power currently available from the installation.
ECO continuously adjusts the charge rate and can blend surplus renewable energy with imported grid electricity, helping the vehicle continue charging as generation changes.
ECO+ gives priority to surplus renewable energy and can pause charging when the available surplus falls below the required level. This is useful when maximising self-generated electricity is more important than charging quickly.
Smart tariffs and scheduling
The myenergi app can be used to set schedules and make use of suitable off-peak or smart EV tariffs. The best setup depends on the chosen tariff, vehicle and household routine, so we configure the charger around the current requirements rather than relying on one tariff remaining available. Zappi can also form part of a wider myenergi system alongside compatible solar, battery and home-energy equipment.
Installation requirements
We check the incoming supply, cut-out rating, consumer unit, earthing arrangement, cable route, parking position and internet connection. The installation includes a correctly designed circuit, appropriate protective devices, load management where needed, DNO notification or approval where applicable, commissioning and app setup.
The completed installation is tested and certified to BS 7671. We demonstrate FAST, ECO and ECO+ modes, scheduling and monitoring so the system can be used confidently from day one.Zappi and Zappi GLO installations for homes and businesses across South London and Surrey.
Smart tariff scheduling, dynamic load balancing and app control are configured around your electrical supply and charging routine. Solar PV and battery integration can be included where suitable.
