This policy explains how we collect, use, retain and protect personal information when you visit our website, contact us, request an estimate or quotation, engage us to provide electrical services, supply services to us, or otherwise deal with our business.
2. Personal information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect and use:
Identity and contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, email address and business or organisation details.
Property and project information, including the installation address, access arrangements, property type, landlord, tenant, managing agent or freeholder details, site plans, photographs and information relevant to the requested electrical work.
Service and technical records, including estimates, quotations, appointments, job sheets, inspection and test results, Electrical Installation Certificates, Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificates, EICRs, EV chargepoint records, commissioning information, warranties, maintenance records and correspondence.
Financial and transaction information, including invoices, payment status and limited payment information. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not normally retain complete card details.
Communications, including emails, telephone notes, contact-form submissions, text or WhatsApp messages and correspondence through review, trade or social-media platforms.
Website and device information, including IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring website and cookie or analytics data, subject to your cookie choices.
Marketing preferences, including whether you have agreed to receive marketing and any opt-out request.
Information received from third parties, such as landlords, tenants, managing agents, builders, architects, other contractors, trade platforms, review platforms, manufacturers, scheme operators, local authorities, Distribution Network Operators, NAPIT or OZEV, where relevant to an enquiry or project.
Please do not provide more personal information than is reasonably required. If health, accessibility or other sensitive information is necessary to arrange safe access or deliver the service, we will use it only for that purpose and with an appropriate lawful condition.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider whether the use is necessary and balance our interests against your rights and reasonable expectations.
If information is required to enter into or perform a contract and you do not provide it, we may be unable to quote for, schedule, certify or complete the work.
4. Photographs, certificates and property information
We may take photographs or videos to record existing conditions, work in progress, completed work, test results, defects, meter or equipment details and compliance matters. These records may be needed to perform the contract, support certification, manage warranties, deal with disputes or demonstrate work to a client, regulator, insurer or scheme provider.
We will not publish images that identify you, your property or its precise location for marketing purposes without an appropriate lawful basis and, where required, your consent. You may withdraw consent for future use at any time, although this will not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal or records that we must retain for contractual, safety or legal purposes.
5. Who we share information with
We may share relevant personal information with:
employees, apprentices and subcontractors working under our direction;
accountants, insurers, legal advisers and debt-recovery providers;
IT, website hosting, email, cloud-storage, communications, scheduling, accounting and payment-service providers;
electrical wholesalers, equipment manufacturers and warranty providers where needed to order, register or support products;
NAPIT, competent-person schemes, Building Control, local authorities and other regulatory or certification bodies;
Distribution Network Operators, energy suppliers, meter operators, OZEV and EV chargepoint or grant administrators where relevant;
landlords, freeholders, managing agents, principal contractors, consultants or other authorised project parties;
emergency services, courts, regulators, public authorities or law-enforcement bodies where disclosure is legally required or necessary to protect rights, people or property; and
a purchaser or adviser if our business or assets are reorganised or sold.
We share only the information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose. Service providers acting on our behalf must handle personal information securely and in accordance with applicable data protection requirements. We do not sell personal information.
6. International transfers
Some service providers, including website, communications, cloud, payment or analytics providers, may store or access information outside the United Kingdom. Unsuccessful enquiries and quotations: generally up to 24 months after the last contact.
Customer, contract, job, invoice and payment records: generally six years after completion of the work or the end of the customer relationship.
Inspection, test, certification, design, installation, photographic and warranty records: generally six years after completion, or longer where reasonably required by legislation, an applicable scheme, warranty, insurer, limitation period or continuing safety need.
Supplier and subcontractor records: generally six years after the end of the relationship or relevant transaction.
Marketing records: until you unsubscribe or object. We may retain a minimal suppression record so that we continue to respect your request.
Cookie and analytics information: for the period stated in our cookie settings or cookie policy and subject to your consent choices.
We may retain information for longer where a complaint, claim, investigation or legal obligation requires it. We securely delete or anonymise information when it is no longer required.
